All of the applications under Residential Services are available for small businesses as well. Some business owners feel that they can set an example by using, for example solar, to lessen the strain on the environment. Others want a "Green" signature as part of their marketing plan. Whatever the reason, more businesses are getting involved with renewable energy products.

Contractors on a new job-site, that doesn’t have permanent power yet, can use portable generators to run tools and equipment. Generators can also be mounted on a vehicle that travels from job-site to job-site.

Small businesses, in our opinion, need to have a power outage plan in place. Does your business have refrigerators, warmers for food, computers that transact continually? How many dollars of inventory would you loose in an extended outage? What if you had to close your business due to loss of lights, heat or air conditioning, or your credit card machine during an extended outage? With a backup power source could you be open, business as usual?

An outage can be solved with a solar/battery system, but are more often remedied with backup generators. They are very user friendly when installed with an automatic transfer switch. Bottom line, backup generators are another form of business insurance.
